again, it is a female journalist raising this issue. When will male politicians start speaking out and actually make things happen? It's all very well harping on about this but until somebody actually causes things to change this will just sound like a broken record every year when the exam results are released.

Male politicians are to blame in my opinion. Nobody speaking out on our behalf.

Well I think it is sexist assuming women can't represent men and boys. Just as it cannot be assumed quotas of women are needed because men can't represent men and women. Good for anyone willing to harp on. One thing one can learn from feminists is that "harping on" with misinformation for long enough gets it accepted as fact. See the debate here on the "pay gap" for the power of harping on. Or the whole DV industry.
