A few articles and news from the past week
BBC Radio 4 - Beyond Westminster: The Men's Vote : Overall a good programme but the end debate was frustrating with the usual guff about patriarchy and also the fact that there are more men in power so of course men's interests are taken into account (Hopi Sen was irritating) so the discussion was based on the prism that anti-male feminism has placed on men - the people involved apart from Kelner and the presenter don't like men. It still remains a problem that few male MP's stand up for men's issues (a few honourable exceptions including Dominic Raab, Karl McCartney, Charlie Elphicke).
Daily Telegraph - Divorced mums and dads could get legal rights to see their children (Christopher Hope) - Please do not let this glimmer of hope be snuffed out and the comments from Tim Loughton and Charlie Elphicke are fabulously robust with the latter's 'anti-dad sociologists and week-kneed judges' being a particular gem.
Sunday People - Michael Le Vell demands rape law change (Phil Cardy) - Covered in a previous post but here the Coronation Street actor speaks out about the hideous experience he suffered and why the law on anonymity must change. In the paper itself (not online), it covers the list of high profile men who have had this charge against them including Neil Hamilton, Matthew Kelly, Mick Hucknall, Craig Charles, Louis Walsh, Paul Weller and Quinten Hann. Lord Dale Campbell-Savours says the law has to change but ex-government (Labour) minister and voraciously anti-male Vera Baird and feminist researcher (her words) Professor Liz Kelly want the law to stay the same. Male victims of false accusations are collateral damage to them.
Daily Telegraph - Boys raised by tradional family unit do better at school (Graeme Paton): The most signifianct part of this article is the piece towards the end about single-mothers having less warmth towards their sons than their daughters. What would be the feminist response to this but it is a real concern if this is true.
Daily Mail - Foul mouthed judge attacked justice system (Rebecca Camber): This unsavoury judge was the one involved here (see Terry Smith reference) and so it is welcome she has gone.
Daily Mail - Julie Dixon jailed for 23 years (Andy Dolan): Who says men cannot be victims?
The Guardian - Tory Feminists (Gaby Hinsliff): That's all men need!

Got quite excited about the BBC radio programme as I tuned in…. but it was short-lived – what a pile of old cobblers! The usual bunch of morons talking the usual boring, moronic codswallop. I mean how God-damned freakin’ difficult is it for someone to stand up on TV or speak on the radio and deliver some statistically correct facts that show men are less privileged than women when it comes to modern Government policies. Yes, they touched on one or two topics that were relevant, but quickly got themselves engulfed in meaningless nonsense drivel that most listeners would just thing WTF are you talking about. I could think of dozens of stats which I could deliver to demonstrate how men are now second class citizens in our society today. And I am absolutely completely and utterly disgusted at the guy who was talking (Hopi Sen?) – what a total loser! So he thinks that because there are more men in Government, that men are better represented. I’ve never heard such a load of shite in all my life! What an unfortunate missed opportunity!

The only decent show on Radio 4 is the one where they examine false stats. They've ripped feminist lies to shreds in a least 2 programmes.
It's quite strange that such output ever occurrs on a platform which is otherwise misandrist almost every day without fail.
