EQUALITIES AND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION HYPOCRISY PROVES AGAIN MEN ARE NOT EQUALS

The contempt for equality at the Equalities and Human Rights Commission knows no boundaries when it comes to discriminating against men. It also proves that men have no chance of achieving equality or fighting discrimination when it comes to getting support from this sham hypocritical organisation.

Why not?

Well it has just appointed its new board of 10 commissioners and guess what - eight are women and two are men.

So where does that leave their campaign for meritocracy, equality and diversity in the boardroom when they do not practice it themselves.

These are more readable than they sound and givive examples. Members of Mikes new party could use these to mount opposition to policy and practice in education and gov bodies. Use the law against them. Afirts step could be to challenge the Commision on it's gender "balance".

Brian I don't think Feminism has anything much to do with Karen Cross dumping her fiancé. It's interesting the comments don't pick up on what she does. I don't know if it's natural. But it is such a feature of our society that it goes without questioning. Just as the comments on Karen's piece didn't pick it up. This pattern is so well attested in sociology to surveys in Women's magazines that it should be obvious yet writers incorporating it get attacked. Of course the almost as well researched pattern of men valuing appearance and affection most in potential mates gets twisted to being superficial. Yet it also means men aren't judging on more than the qualities of the person in front of them ,not their actual earning power and ability to support. Personally what annoys the most is the fact that the reality is hidden or rather discussion of it is . The story about the boy Lpunched highlights the powerful socialisation of males not to strike girls and women. Indeed the comments were full of praise for his stance on this as gentlemanly. Yet many feminists assert that all men support or collude with abusers , which both manifestly untrue and blatant misandry /sexism.

Yes you are quite correct Mike there have been studies in the US. Essentially the more resources a woman has the more "choosy" she becomes. Part of this is opportunity, it's taken as read at many US universities that female students and graduates are making choices to bring them into social contact with high status men. Of course the maths is against them as fewer men enter Uni. Of course studies of poor women show aspirations are more limited partly due to the limited opportunity .Hence the desperation to be a WAG.
