The grim outcome of decades of feminisation in the education system was shown on the back of the A-Level results published today.
- 69.9% of boys reached grade C and above
- 75.2% of girls reached grade C and above
This is on the back of similar results for 11 (link) and 14 years olds (link) last week.
Out of 35 subjects (link), boys only did better than girls in French, German, Irish and Spanish.
The government have promised extra help for boys in reading and writing but this is far too little, far too late. Every year, boys are not achieving their potential because of an education system geared towards woman and not both sexes.
Where's the equality in this?
