Police announced today that they can no longer cope with the increase in violent women (link) - 240 per day.
After listening to the story of a male domestic abuse victim on Radio 4 (link - click on latest edition and 35 minutes in), the lightbulb went off.
Wth such an increase in violent women in British society nowadays, some of this at least be coming out in domestic situations, whether it is reported or not.
Therefore the needs of male domestic abuse victims must be made a high priority rather than being ignored by the Governement, police and local authorities. These figures show that male victims must be on the increase, this violence cannot just be confined to after-closing-time incidents.
It also means that those who believe that only violence is carried out by men are WRONG. They have been proved wrong and must challenged.
Again, no comment from Harman, Baird or Eagle?
Got to love how the bbc managed to find some idiot feminist academic type who basically said the police were lying and women are really great etc.
I reckon her "research" must consist of studying crime and every time someone tells her about female perpetrators she sticks her fingers in her ears and says "la la la I can't hear you"

I have believed in justice ... however after living in relationship with rather lovely man who was for last five years mentaly abused by his wife ... she is now ex however still very dangerous (and abusive publicly to us both), calls police on us any time she can, because she is so sure they will always stand on her side ... and they do ...
I do not believe that this government wants to acknowledge the fact that a lot of man are not only abused physicaly but often mentaly, which in a way might be even worse. As a woman the only think I can say is I WISH POLICE WOULD LISTEN TO BOTH PARTIES AND STAND ON THE CORRECT SIDE ... ON THE SIDE OF VICTIM NO MATTER IF IT IS MAN OR WOMAN.
