The past two weeks have been busy in terms of anti-male issues or debunking anti-male myths. Listed below is the some of the coverage.
The Times (Sue Palmer) - Who's to blame for the lost boys?
The Sunday Times (India Knight) - Having it all is a myth, girls
Daily Telegraph (David Green) - The Gender Pay Gap Does Not Exist
Daily Mail (Petronella Wyatt) - Man Flu? It we women who are the sickly sex
Perhaps this is why Harriet Harman needs to claim £10,000 for a media advisor

Though easy to see as a storm in a tea cup. The smear campaign by Ruth Padel to get a Poetry professorship gives good insight into a more common occurance in the US. In esssence using a "Harrasment" case from the 1980s (at an US University) against a rival male candidate.

Such methods are well documented in the US where "harrasment" is often claimed and "settled" due to the high legal costs to defend. Yes maybe poetry at Oxford isn't the most important area of endevor but it is a warning about the effects of the new "strengthening" in the Equality Bill. After all it is actually difficult to defend against claims of sexual harrasment if the definition is not one of fact but where the "victim" felt harrased. This aspect of the equalities bill has been passed over. But this case shows it is important.
