Patrick Brown

I wouldn't dream of defending New Labour against charges of using women as window-dressing. Until recently Brown's cabinet has been well-stocked with women who have been promoted above their abilities, because they're women. Caroline Flint was perfectly happy with that so long as she got a plum job out of it.

Women CAN rebut Caroline Flint. If men do it, they'll get attacked on charges of sexism. It's much more convincing if a woman does it.
