There's no doubt it is just as immoral. In fact studies tend to show such incidents have a more detrimental impact on the male victims than on females due to males maturing at a later age.

Of course I'm not advocating harsher sentences for females paedophiles than males - that would be sexist discrimination, the fact is that there's no argument for any sort of difference in sentencing based on the race or sex of a criminal.

Female sentencing discount needs to be brought to an end.

Of course it is not as bad as the other way around, because sex is a female resource. Boys sleeping with female teachers are lucky and that is all there is to it.

The Angry Mage

Things like this make me so angry that i just dont have the words to express myself.

This "woman" who thinks she is a "journalist" has truly lost the plot. Obviously she has a deep hatred of men which she chooses to try and enforce on other people.

The fact that she chooses to write this junk should be cause for a p45. I thought sexism at work was illegal and she is promoting it through her writing.

The issue itself is just too big to go into for me personally or i could end up writing a book on it. All i can say is that you cant when an argument with a stupid person and this woman is clearly stupid.

Porky Domesticus

Another example of a female supremacist. Fact is its worse when the victim is a boy because boys are less mature than girls. Never ceases to amaze me the kind of idiots who are allowed to bray their opinions at the Guardian.

Some excellent comments (assuming Eivind's is of course being sarcastic), good to see the readership here growing too.
