As ever when dealing with the usual stereotype that only men can be paedophiles, this week's news has already been dominated by the Vanessa George case and yesterday's Carole Clarkecase in Grimsby.
This and the figures outlined and highlighted here before from Childline. The BBC has a thought piece on the subject.
With these stories gradually there may be a change in the way that only men can be portrayed as paedophile's. However, considering the fact that the portrayal of a domestic violence victim is still based on only female as a victims and not the other way round or both, I think this will be some way off.
