Leicestershire story is very interesting, have seen it mentioned before. Does anyone know more about this - as i understand it any Women's Aid groups wanting to help men used to get expelled from the National Federation for doing so!

Not sure if this still applies, nothing in the articles about it but would be nice to find out.

I think they have John at a local level rather than a national policy level (though I would not be suprised if they did eventually just becuase they need the money - so it would be a pretend concern).

I appreciate it is at a local level. My point was that a consequence of this might be that the Leicester Women's Aid group gets expelled form the National federation. There was certainly a case of this in Wales.

Typically with Women's Aid and similar groups some of those working with vicitms at a local level actually have far less extreme views than the people running the organisation at a National level. Therefore some of this concern may actually be genuine here.
