Naomi Wolf is becoming much less a feminist and much more an egalitarian. It is great to witness this influential woman, still labelled a feminist, arguing for fairness in the genders. Very different to her talk of a decade ago.

The insistence by Wark that there is no evidence that anonymity hurts rape victims is made right over the top of the statistical evidence that Wolf tried to present, illustrating how countries that have anonymity have low conviction rates.

Anonymity hurts victims AND those accused.

I agree.
It ends with Naomi Wolff stating feminism is about equality and should not mean special treatment for women. She should be applauded for stating this on national television. Its about time. She is actually an ally here. The mens movement should seek those and realize that true feminists can help us and we should do all we can to support those who believe it true equality and not special status for women. I certainly have a different view of Ms Wolff now that she has publicly made these statements which supports the mens movement of true equality. Our biggest mistake in my mind is labeling all feminists as anti male when true equality individualist feminists are not. Ms Bagshawe is clearly the opposite hypocritical feminist looking for special treatment.

I agree Charles. There are many women feminists or not who don,t support this current vogue for gender feminism. Just as there are many men all too ready to support the warped notions of this special pleading from the chattering and political classes. Frankly more men need to pay attention. I'm afraid it is an ideology of the political class not one of the parties. Though nu labour was perhaps most in thrall to it.
