There was an hour devoted to male victims on BBC Three Counties (see here from 1 hour in). The most striking interview was from Ray (about 1hr 30 mins in) where he described the abuse he suffered from and the fact that the police tried to prosecute him!
Not only does his story show the power of the false allegation but also the knee jerk sexism that still occurs in some police forces where the man is always guilty. It also shows the awfulness of the family courts where this man has lost contact with his son.
Perhaps all those who celebreted International Women's Day this week should be made to listen to it and be asked what they think.

This story as a tacit admission that DV accusations are already used in court cases.
