It seemed quite apposite this week that this site had its 200,000th ever hit on te same day of the first ever conference for men and boys.
As can be seen by the review by conference organiser, Glen Poole, and also the quality and breadth of the delegate list, it can be seen this was a success. With 150 attending and a wide agenda, the event was exactly what was needed.
Hopefully it would lead to the formation of an umbrella group or body that will start to raise the voice for men and boys at a national level.

Well done TROM and Glenand his network in Brighton. Although I'm sure men have a whole variety of views but I do think they key jobs are: Challenging the lies with facts so men and women start to question the "sacred cows" of the baby boomer polical elite, too many just seem to unquestioningly accept these notions from decades ago.Second is have conferences and sites and indeed groups to share and develop the small voice into a bigger one. The third is to develop a set of issues to concentrate on so as to make an impact. Just moaning won't cut it. Full marks to all involved. Most of all full marks for equality. I have sons and a daughter and all three deserve to be respected and develop.

Once the press are liberated form the feminist stranglehold there will be men flocking to join the movement in their thousands.
The BBC were going through all sorts of contortions to avoid saying the words "Men's Rights Groups" in their reports on the blatantly misandrous 'findings' recently that men shouldn't have equal custodial rights.
If they even said those words it would get the thought of men having rights groups into the public mind. Of course that's exactly why they omit it, but its getting tougher for them.
Great that the Conference was a success. Though the media will be desperate to omit that too, but again there will come a point where they can't ignore us anymore.

just taking a look at the list of delegate. A superb selection of excellent organisations represented (the only negative i could see is that there were two people from Respect Uk present as well)

Thank you for all the positive support here. There is a review of the conference from a delegate with links to delegate feedback here - http://brightonmanplan.wordpress.com/2011/11/09/a-great-review-from-a-conference-delegate/. Best Glen
