The MensCraft Men & Boys Adventure Weekend at Ringsfield Hall Eco Centre
27th to 28th October 2012
This weekend for fathers and their sons aged 5 to 15, is aimed at strengthening and deepening
their bond through age appropriate activities and challenges. We combine bushcraft, storytelling, drama, outdoor games, crafts and nature to create a fun and yet deeply connecting
experience that will be remembered and cherished. We will also provide the chance for the men
to reflect on some of the fundamental questions fathers face today:-
- How do we harness our masculinity to do the best for our children, both boys and girls?
- What kind of man do we want to raise our sons to be?
- How can we help ourselves and them to develop a positive masculinity that enables us to feel good about being men whilst respecting the wellbeing and rights of others?
MensCraft is a not-for-profit community interest company devoted to men and boy’s
development and wellbeing. Ringsfield Hall Eco Centre is set amongst woodland in a remote and beautiful corner of north Suffolk but with good road and rail connections to London, the midlands and the South East. They use their facilities to provide children and adults with a memorable experience of nature.
