Mike Buchanan

Thanks S. I expect BarryB will vomit his customary bile in the comment stream, but until then...

How the hell can a man who can be broken down by me so easily that he is reduced to shaming language and little snipes ( exactly the same type as feminists use) on his every post now, be worth anything as a politician?

You want to donate to that ? Don't worry mike i'm sure the fearless leader of this blog (who is so legitimate he hides) will hold your hand and censor some of the men you hold your hand out to because they don't agree with you, think your way is a waste of time or smell a rat

A fool and their money are easily parted, so are men who are desperate, they make easy prey. How much your books make mike?

barryb

To prove a point, you say the glass ceiling is a myth and if women have merit a business will always invest in them because it makes sense to do so, i happen to agree with that.

So if your way has any merit, how come you cannot find one decent sponsor , be it a business or well off individual to sponsor your party with your business background mike, why you got your hand out to men who have probably lost everything to some cupcake or who are often desperate?

One would think if there was any point in doing it the way you are, at least one would have come forward, even if on the quiet?

I wonder why?

barryb

P.s if it is a PUBLIC consultation document, why do only those who give you money get to be consulted in it?

Pps. Offering people who donate 20 pound or more the "the opportunity" to speak with you in email or directly? Oh excuse me your majesty, prime minister, angelina frigging jolie.

Are you serious or is your ego on acid?

That'll do for tonight thought i would give you something to chew on, you must be running out of victim cream by now....never mind skimmigton or should we now call him "Goebels"will censor shortly.

Barryb,

I really appreciate some of the links that you post on this blog as they help raise awareness. But I defy you to explain how Mike's efforts in raising awareness via executing excellent interviews like this can be construed as negative?

Personally, I think this is Mike's best interview to date and I resent anyone criticising a guy who goes to such lengths to help the rest of us. Also, I see nothing wrong with his appeals for funding, after all, the feminist movement would have got nowhere without money! Money is what is required in order to advertise, raise awareness and change a Nation's culture. Think about the shear amount of money circulating withing the feminist movement and just how much money they have at their fingertips in order to deliver their agenda.

I agree there is more to it than just money but give Mike a break, man, he's on our side!

PopeyeTheSailor

Great work .. Already 38% funded and near 90% of the time still remaining. If only the mens equality sector could get state subsidies as easily as the women. Then we wouldnt need such initiatives in the first place.

PopeyeTheSailor

Plus when Mike becomes prime-minister he can knock some sense into those Newsnight people. Tonight's discussion about role models was a joke!

Dave, Mike has ZERO chance of getting elected into anything, anyone knows that, he knows that, that failure to get votes will be negative and reflect very badly on the MRM.

Not getting elected and basically looking a foolish bunch of idiots that basically nobody supports, will damage the MRM and it's credibility. IMO

I can already see the statements from the dry-holes and mainstream media when the election is a complete flop and they get a few hundred votes if that, hell maybe even a thousand. It will be a huge step backward in the perception of the strength and support of the MRM to the sheepish public and media.

Yes using this as a way to get on TV and radio and "raise awareness" may be seen as smart but it will get nowhere, awareness is already everywhere, everyone knows the bloody game yet things have only got worse.

The damage to society by feminism and its socialist Matriarch is so total it is going to take something a bit more hardcore then that.

I was only talking to a friend last night about 1980's TV shows and if you look back on them now, the creep of the red left and the social engineering agenda of feminism was rife in them all, every scripted line, that's when it all started wholesale. The gradual conditioning .

Don't know about you but I don't want to wait another 35 years for any "awareness" to have any effect..

Mike Buchanan

Dave and PopeyeTheSailor, thanks for your comments. BarryB appears to be unaware I don't drink in his pub anymore. God knows who he's talking to, when he thinks he's addressing me.

It would have taken Barry longer to pen the comments in this one stream alone, than to read the short AVfM article in which I outlined our strategy (I must have suggested at least five times that he read it, to no avail). If he'd read it, he'd understand that 'success' isn't about being elected in 2015 (or indeed later). It's about raising public awareness about the state's assaults on men and boys. He seems to think that because he has awareness, everyone else must too. We've only had significant exposure since we formed the political party. If BarryB has any thoughts about how to fight the POLITICAL battle, it would be good to hear them. Hell, I might even return to his pub again.

It's all too easy to lose sight of the fact that the vast majority of men (and women) remain utterly blind to the fact that militant feminism has been a hate-driven female supremacist movement for 30+ years, and is the ultimate source of the many disadvantages suffered by men and boys in the modern era.

Anyway, sugar and spice and all things nice, that what baby killers are made of.

Dave

Barryb,

Why all the negative comments towards Mike? Mike is a guy who can really help our young generation of boys by raising awareness in the media and grabbing the attention of those whom would otherwise ignore men's issues. He goes out of his way and puts his own neck on the line in order to help the cause and you choose to criticise his efforts and make cryptic comments that I don't really understand.

The thing is, I recognise that you are angry and I don't doubt that most men who visit men's issues sites like these share at least some of that anger. I, too, feel angry at the way society ignores the male gender and I, too, would like to see immediate change to the culture we have become accustomed to over the last few dreadful decades. I also agree that a certain amount of tenacity is required in order to overthrow militant feminism. But fighting each other isn't going to win us any battles especially when you put yourself up against people like Mike who are basically our only hope at the moment.

I've been yearning for someone like Mike to step into the limelight for a couple of decades at least and now here he is, right in the thick of it, being invited to a plethora of relatively high profile interviews and, from my perspective, becoming stronger and more confident at each and every appearance as they arise. The last couple of interviews where absolute corkers - a complete whitewash by Mike, executed in a very convincing style. To put it bluntly, his interviewers were white knight morons who were obviously pandering to their female audiences (and female bosses). I guess Mike will get a lot of this but to watch Mike deal with these questions in the way that he does is a ground-breaking gamechanger for MRAs.

No doubt, Mike still has some way to go and I believe that as he gets more air time he will broaden his horizons in terms of factual content and use his arsenal of facts to further cripple his opponents. Indeed, I'm sure that some of his information he picks up off of internet sites like this and learns how real men out there are being affected by anti-male discrimination. Mike is still learning himself and I bet he appreciates constructiveness (is that a word) that helps him evolve his approach and thus enables him to fight his battles more effectively. Why don't you spend some time talking with Mike about issues that affect you and that you are passionate about and he might even get a chance to mention them on air.

So come on Barryb, give the guy a break and use your knowledge to its best potential instead of pointlessly wasting time fghting. Mike's on OUR side.

Dave

"Yes using this as a way to get on TV and radio and "raise awareness" may be seen as smart but it will get nowhere, awareness is already everywhere, everyone knows the bloody game yet things have only got worse."

Barryb, this is not true. The sad truth is that feminism and women's rights are the talk of the town and have been drilled into our society for several decades, thus rendering men's rights issues dead in their tracks. We are now in a position that wherever you turn, there is a perpetual onslaught of disrespect aimed at men, whether that be by the media, in the workplace, politics or even by women AND men in society today. You only have to watch TV for half an hour (literally anything - soaps, news, drama, comedy etc.) and anyone with half a brain can see the blatant double-standards and discrimination.

The only real majority awareness is awareness of female rights and privilege, which has been successfully indoctrinated into people's brains. Awareness of men's rights is still in its infancy but it can become more robust with more radio and TV appearances by MRA like Mike. And it's more likely to get us somewhere in comparison with doing nothing. I really can't see why you'd be against such action. I can only hope that Mike gets to write and produce a Channel 4 documentary within the next two years, which would really go some way to pissing off feminists and consequently raising the profile of Men's rights. Now that would be exciting! Anything he can get involved with like this would be a huge help so for crying out loud let's support him with raising awareness and hopefully influencing other men and boys to look again at their own lives and that of their children.

Mike Buchanan

Dave, thank you.

Groan

Well said Dave! And Well done Mike.

You guys gonna have a circle jerk next?

Seeing how skimmington keeps censoring and altering the thread no point in replying at length. I have replied on the newest post.
