NSPCC PROPAGANDA INFLUENCES CHILDREN TO THINK MEN ARE SOLE PERPATRATORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

The endemic demonising of men is most characteristically shown by organisations only showing women as victims and men as perpetrators of domestic violence.

It is particularly sad and worrying when this includes charities like the NSPCC and the message is sent out strongly to children. Whilst they try and recognise that men can also be victims, the posters and leaflets are all showing men as perpetrators.

Often organisations do this in an unthinking way, preferring to swallow the constant propaganda from the likes of Women's Aid, Refuge, The Government and others. They fail to check the facts that 33%-40% of domestic violence victims are men and that 1 in every 4 incidents are against men. These are Home Office figures.

These links show the propaganda and the demonisation of fathers by the NSPCC. Only women can be victims in the eyes of the NSPCC.

NEW REPORT SHOWS FAMILY COURTS ARE SYSTEMATICALLY FAILING

Families Need Fathers produced a first rate piece of research this week entitled "The Law, Justice and You!". The press release is here (link) and the full report here (link).

It clearly shows that the family court system, as it says on the press release, is failing those it aims to serve.

The delays are scary and atrocious but what is even worse is the appalling ratings for those supposedly involved in the justice system who are meant to be independent and act in the best interests of the child. It shows how the British rule of law is crumbling and confidence of a fair hearing is non existent.

• 50%  of judges are rated as poor;
• 64% of CAFCASS officers are rated as poor (2 in 3);
• 66% of lawyers are rated as poor.

It is a shocking state of affairs and the general awfulness of the unaccountable people in the ultra secretive CAFCASS is once again exposed.

The law clearly needs changing and the courts opened up to scrutiny. Where there is an unaccountable silence, there is injustice.

ERIN PIZZEY - HOW FEMINISTS DENY MALE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS SUPPORT

The wonderful Erin Pizzey wrote an article in The Daily Mail (link) describing how feminist fundamentalists actively campaign against support being given to male domestic violence victims. It explains how they are supported by politicians and some quotes from the article are outlined below. It is a wonderful tour de force.

In 1990, Harriet Harman (who became a Cabinet minister), Anna Coote (who became an adviser to Labour's Minister for Women) and Patricia Hewitt (yes, she's in the Labour Cabinet, too!) expressed their beliefs in a social policy paper called The Family Way.

It said: "It cannot be assumed that men are bound to be an asset to family life, or that the presence of fathers in families is necessarily a means to social harmony and cohesion." It was a staggering attack on men and their role in modern life.

For nearly four decades, these pernicious attitudes towards family life, fathers and boys have permeated the thinking of our society to such an extent that male teachers and carers are now afraid to touch or cuddle children.

Men can be accused of violence towards their partners and sexual abuse without evidence. Courts discriminate against fathers and refuse to allow them access to their children on the whims of vicious partners.

I believe that the feminist movement envisaged a new Utopia that depended upon destroying family life. In the new century, so their credo ran, the family unit will consist of only women and their children. Fathers are dispensable. And all that was yoked - unforgivably - to the debate about domestic violence.

TEACHER ADMITS EDUCATION IS BIASED AGAINST BOYS

In a Daily Mail article (24/01/08) that does not seem to be on-line, Frances Child, a secondary school teacher admits that the feminisation of education has meant that boys are disadvantaged.

In the article, she explain how stripping competitiveness from sport and exams has damaged boys, that they are not suited to course based work and also how when in comes to play they are not expected to behave as boys.  No running around or playing with toys like tanks and guns.

As it comes from a female teacher, her views are extremely credible.

NEW BOOK SHOWS HOW FEMINISATION HAS DAMAGED BOYS EDUCATION

This site has raised the issue constantly about how the feminisation of education has blighted the educational chances of at least one to two generations of boys (link). The story is covered here (link) and (link).

In a new book,  Dr Leonard Sax has produced a book called Boys Adrift (link) which explains that boys are lagging behind at school because of a combination of lessons which suit girls better, over-exposure to video games and a decline in male role models.

Dr Sax, the US academic, is calling for single-sex lessons throughout primary and secondary school to allow boys to learn at their own pace. This site has called for single-sex lessons, single-sex schools and the re-introduction of O-levels to help boys achieve just like they used to.

The family court system of course has its part to play, as it seeks to take fathers out of their children;s lives especially when it creates an adversarial environment and a refusal to enforce child contact orders.

Again, when is the Government and the educational establishment going to do something about it?

When girls were behind they pulled out all the stoops but because it is boys, they do not care. Boys education is infected with political correctness and boys are bottom of the pile.

ERIN PIZZEY CAMPAIGN TO HIGHLIGHT MALE VICTIMS

In an article for the Independent last week (link) Erin Pizzey outlined a questionnaire that she had created asking female perpetrators of domestic violence against men to speak about their experiences. It is featured at ifemininezone (link), a feminist on-line magazine that is gender neutral (i.e. it does not attack men and actually as a mens section)

Erin is a pioneer when it comes to domestic abuse, having set up the first refuge in the UK in the 1970S. Since then though, she has been an avowed campaigner for male victims and wrote this renowned paper on it (link). She is also a patron of The Mankind Initiative, a charity that helps male victims.

The tide is turning, albeit slowly, where the media are starting to turn the spotlight onto male victims. The interesting angle is that it is women who are having the most success in raising this issue then men.

SMA ADVERT - IN PRAISE OF FATHERS

Maybe the advertising industry (that includes you MFI-  link) can take a leaf out of SMA Nutrition who have been broadcasting a run of very pro-male, pro-father adverts over the past few months.

The adverts have a voiceover of a man proudly declaring his love for his wife/girlfriend for giving birth to his child.

This is wholly against the trend in the last decade where a succession of male bashing adverts have been run.

FATHERHOOD INSTITUTE LAUNCHED - DADS FRUSTRATED AT SECONDARY ROLE

A welcome new addition to the pantheon of groups supporting men is the Fatherhood Institute (link) which came into being came into being on 7 January 2008, a successor organisation to Fathers Direct. It is part funded through a £300,000 grant from the Government.

To quote from its site its aim is "to promote good practice in public services and industry, in recognition of the aspiration of fathers to be more involved in their children’s lives and in response to the increasing body of research that demonstrates the importance of father-child and mother-father relationships to children."

At its launch, it also produced a report "The Difference A Dad Makes" (link) that will dismay the anti-male feminist fundamentalists who want to relegate men to the outer sphere of society.

"7 out of 10 mums (68%) believe dads are as skilled at parenting as they are, yet the father role is seen as still secondary by much of society, according to new ICM research launched by the Fatherhood Institute today.

The new institute says involving fathers has a major impact on child welfare yet they spend on average a month less with their children than mums every year, mainly because of unsocial hours and inflexible working."

The organisation has been campaigning for a fairer Child Support Agency institution and also for the family courts/CAFCASS to be reformed. Two areas that the female fundamentalists have used to undermine the male role in bringing up and supporting their children.

Harriet Harman, one, if not the, biggest enemy of UK men, launched the new organisation probably as a sop to her conscience and to enable her to say "Look, the Labour Government does support men". Do not believe it.

Let us hope the Institute is successful but hope that because it is reliant on Government for its funding, it is not captured by the Government (Classic New Labour tactic of funding groups that oppose it, thereby effectively gaining control of them) and still and must remain an independent voice.

BRUCE HYMAN CASE : FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES

After reading the latest Familes Need Fathers magazine (McKenzie) I was amazed to read about Bruce Hyman's character witnesses in the infamous story of how he was jailed for perverting the court of justice in his attempt to frame a man fighting for access to his children (link).

One of the character witnesses was Sir Mark Potter - President of the Family Division of the High Court. He is in charge of the family courts. 

What chance have men got when the man in charge of fmaily courts is prepared to be a character witness for someone who was trying to corrupt a family court and smear a father?. 

THE END OF FATHERHOOD

The chilling issue about the The Human Fertilisation and Embryolgy Bill going through Parliament is that this is legalised evidence of the war being lead against fathers.

It is bad enough that men are denied access to their children when a divorce/separation occurs and that the secretive Masonic-like Family Courts and CAFCASS act without legitimacy and with impunity, but this enshrines the decline of fatherhood in law.

It will be a victory for Marxist Feminists, who want to change society by making it as anti-man as possible. It won't end here, the ideological war against  fathers and men is just raised another notch.

As Iain Duncan-Smith MP said so powerfully in the Mail on Sunday  (link)

"Another nail will have been hammered into the coffin of the traditional family. And another blow will have been struck against fatherhood.

This move could not have come at a worse time. Just as we are beginning to appreciate the vital role fathers play in the successful upbringing of children, Labour Ministers are sending out the utterly wrong signal that fathers don't matter. "

“We believe this proposal sends out an extremely worrying message that makes fathers redundant in the upbringing of children. In an environment where significant societal problems are caused by the lack of a father in a child’s life, the Government should be making every attempt to consolidate a father’s position, rather than weaken it.”
